Electronic Reserves Clearing House - Site maintained by Jeff Rosedale of Columbia University.  Links to resources for electronic reserve projects throughout the world.

Liblicence Web Site - This site is based at Yale's University Library. It is aimed at Librarians and contains information about licensing digitial information. Also holds a copy of the PA/JISC Model Licence.

D-Lib Web Site - This site provides a forum for digital library research, and includes a link the the D-Lib Magazine (also available through the UKOLN Site.)
 
 

Rightholders and Representative Organisations

Copyright Licensing Agency - The CLA is responsible for looking after the interests of UK rights owners in copying from books, journals and periodicals.  Their site also has useful links to other rights holders' organisations throughout the world, and information about their digitisation licence.

eLib - The eLib home page, with a listing of links to eLib projects in all fields, including on-demand publishing and electronic reserve.

PELICAN - The PELICAN Project, based at Loughborough University. The PELICAN project is intended to develop an understanding of charging mechanisms for distributing commercially published electronic texts to students. It aims to develop a suitable pricing mechanism, which satisfies all stakeholders in the HE/FE community and could provide the foundation for a holistic distribution model of academic literature in digistised form.

BUILDER - The BUILDER Project, based at the University of Birmingham. BUILDER aims to develop a working model of the hybrid library within both a teaching and research context. The site also includes project documentation about electronic library issues, including a paper about their use of HERON.

Intellectual Property Rights Helpdesk - A European Commission project to support creativity and innovation in Europe with IP issues such as copyright matters.
